The NVSP Portal facilitates new voter Id card application and check status of NVSP application.Through this portal, applicant can also apply for new Voter Id and track the status.

All the applicants who have applied for the Voter Id Card through the nvsp.in official website, they can check the status of their application through online mode. For this, they will not have to go to the office of BLO or any other concerned department, they can see it on the official portal of NVSP.

NVSP Portal Registration Process:-

Follow the below steps to register yourself on the National Voter Service Portal:-

• Visit the official website of NVSP
• On the homepage of the website, you have to click on the option "Login/Register".
• Next on the new page, click the link "Do not have an account, register as a new user".
• Enter the Mobile Number and Captcha Code given in picture and click on "Send OTP" button.
• You will receive an OTP on registered mobile number, enter it at designated location. Click "I do not have EPIC Number" or "I have EPIC Number" as per desire.
• After filling the mandatory information asked, click on Register button to complete the procedure.

Steps to check the NVSP Voter Id Card Status:-

To check NVSP status in online mode, follow the steps given below:-

• Applicants has to visit the official website of NVSP.
• On the Homepage, you have to click on "Track Application Status" section.

• Now Online Application Status page will open in front of you, here you have to enter "Reference Id" and click on the track Status Button.
• The status of the application will appear on your computer/mobile screen.

Voter Id Card Status Check through Toll-free Number :-

One can check the Voter Id card status by following a toll-free number provided by the Official Election Commission. Follow the below steps to check the status of Voter Id Card:-

• First of all, dial the toll-free number 1950.
• Provide all the information asked on call by concerned authorities.
• Your Voter Id Card Status will be given to you by the authorities.

Voter Id Card Status Check through SMS :-

One can also check the status of the Voter Id Card via SMS. For this one need to send an SMS to below helpline numbers which is provided separately for each state.

Eligibility Criteria for NSVP Voter Id Card :-

• Should be an Indian Citizen.
• Must be 18 year of age.
• Should be a permanent resident of India.
• Should not be financially bankrupt and free from criminal charges.

Documents Required for Voter Id Card:-

• Proof of Identity (PAN Card, Aadhaar Card etc.)
• Passport size photo.
• Address proof (Passport, Pan Card, Water Bill etc.)

How to Apply for New Voter Id Card?

Applicants can apply offline or online to enter their name in the Voter List and obtain Voter Id Card. Follow the below steps to apply for Voter Id Card online through the official Website www.nvsp.in

• Visit the official website of NVSP.
• On the homepage, click on "Form" section.

• Here, you have to click on "Apply online for registration of new Voters" i.e Form 6.
• Here you have to enter all the asked information such as personal details, Current address, permanent address, other required specifications.
• After entering all the requested information, you have to fill the declaration form and click on "Go" button. After verification, you will be issued a Voter Id Card. 

Apply for Duplicate Voter Id Card:-

One need to download and fill the EPIC-002 form from official website of NVSP to apply for duplicate Voter Id Card. After entering all the information in the form, attach necesary documents such as FIR, Address and Identity Proof etc with the form and the visit the nearest election office and submit the form.You will be  given a reference number through which you can track the status of your Voter Id Card.

Voter Card Entry Correction:-

One need to visit the official website of NVSP in order to correct the entry in Voter Id Card and Login with the essential credentials i.e using User name and Password. You then need to select the "Entry Correction" option. Form 8A will open on your screen, enter all the details in this form and click on submit button.
