NREGA Job card List Scheme has been launched by the Prime Minister of UGA Government Manmohan Singh in September 2005 under Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act-2005. 

The main objective of this program is to provide livelihood security to adult people by providing them employment opportunities for 100 days in a financial year. Under this scheme, a large number of unskilled adult people in rural areas get manual work from the central government. Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India will provide manual works such as wage work, construction employment etc. through this program.


NREGA Job Card List 2020 MNREGA State-wise:-

After instituting this new program, the Ministry of Rural Development has started distributing NREGA job cards to eligible rural areas. The NREGA Job Card registration process has been done through the nrega portal (https://www.nrega.nic.in/n). All adult unskilled rural people who do not have job cards can enroll themselves by checking NREGA Portal.


Eligibility to Apply for NREGA Job Card:-

  • Applicant must be a citizen of India and must have one of the Identity proof given by the State or Central Government.
  • Women will not be allow to apply for this program.
  • Only Adult Unskilled people will be eligible for this scheme.
  • Applicant age should be over 18 years.
  • Adult unskilled families lives in rural areas will be eligible for this scheme, people from urban areas not allow for this program.

Procedure for checking NREGA Job Card List 2020 Online:-


  • Applicants who have entered their name to get the NREGA Job Card, should visit the official Portal.
  • The applicants will have to click on the "Job Card" link and view it on new browser.


  • Applicants will get a list of 35 regions on display. One need to select the region or state and check the details.

  • After this, the applicants will have to select the financial year, district,. block, panchayat and the click on proceed button.

  • Once you click on Proceed button, you will find the Job Card Number with applicant details and list on the screen. Here applicants need to search his name and click on Job Card number.

  • Once you select the Job card with your name, your Job Card will be opened.


MNREGA Mobile App:- 

Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act has implemented Janmanrega Android Mobile Application. Applicants can see complete details about MNREGA Job Card Scheme by installing Janmanrega Mobile App.


App Installation Process:-

  • Applicants can visit the Play store and search for Janmanrega.
  • Then  install the application on your device and log in to the mobile application using mobile number. Janmanrega App will work only in Android devices.
