Bihar Government has launched Mukhyamantri Kanya Utthan Yojana to prevent female feticide, child marriage in state. Through this scheme, the Bihar Government will provide financial assistance on the birth of girls. Mukhyamantri Kanya Utthan Yojana has been launched by Nitish Kumar with an aim to improve the level of education in women.


Financial Assistance/Funds to be provided Under Mukhyamantri Kanya Utthan Yojana:-
  • On the Birth of a Girl in the Family :- 1) In the first installment, Rs 2000 assistance will be provided to the family on the birth of the girl child. 2) When the girl is one year old, the second installment of Rs 1000 will be given to the girl's father (if he is connected with Aadhaar). 3) Rs 2000 will be provided as the last installment in the event of the completion of vaccination of the girl child.
  •  On Passing Intermediate Examination :- If the Intermediate Examination is passed by the beneficiary student under the Mukhyamantri Kanya Utthan Yojana, then Rs 10,000 will be provided as support for further education. To avail this assistance amount, it is mandatory for the student to be unmarried.
  • On Passing/Completing Graduation :- If the beneficiary girl passes the graduate level examination under this scheme, then she will be given a lump sum amount of Rs 25000. This amount will be given on passing the graduation examination from any college.

Eligibility Criteria :-
  • Only Resident girl of Bihar are eligible to avail this scheme.
  • Through this scheme, only the girl students belonging to poor families (BPL) will be given the benefit of assistance for further education.
  • If a member of beneficiary student's family does a government job,then in this situation he/she can not apply for this scheme.
  • Under this scheme, the beneficiary girl will be given the benefit of assistance on the basis of the school education according to the stages.

If you fulfill all the above eligibility criteria, you can apply online through the given steps:-

  • In the dashborad of the website, you will be given link for registration. You have to click on the link (For Student Registration and Login Only) here. After this, guidelines related to the application will be given on a new page.
  • After reading all the guidelines, click on the "Register" link. After this, the online registration panel will open in front of you.

  • Here you have to share your name, father's name, DOB, Mobile Number and information related to Aadhaar Card.
  • After this, you have to select the password as per your wish. Now enter the captcha code, click on the "Register" button.
  • In this way your registration in the website will be completed. Now you have to come back to the website dashboard.
  • Here you will be given different application options for graduate, secondary level and 10th Pass applicants.
  • Here you have to click on one of the options according to your educational qualification. You can see that different links are given for all three classes.
  • On click on one of the links given by you, an online application form will open in front of you. Here you have to enter all your necessary information.
  • After that, you have to upload all the documents at the designated place and check the information you have entered and click on submit button.
  • You will be given an application number, You can check your application status with the help of this application number.

In this way, your E Kalyan Mukhyamantri Kanya Utthan Yojana Online Registration will be completed.
