Gujarat Kisan Suryodaya Yojana - Online Registration, Eligibility Criteria

The Kisan Suryodaya Yojana has been inaugurated by the Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, through video confrencing in his home state of Gujarat on 24th October. Under this scheme, farmers suffering from electricity and water problems will get relief.

Under this scheme, the farmers of the state will be able to irrigate their fields well by getting electricity in three phases for irrigation during the day. The Gujarat Government has allocated a budget of Rs 3500 crore to set up infrastructure under the scheme by 2023.

According to the PM Kisan Suryodaya Yojana, the first phase includes Dahod, Patan, Mahisagar, Panchmahal, Chhota Udaipur, Kheda, Anand and Gir-Soma districts, the remaining districts will be included in the next phase, so that electricity can be supplied in all the districts.

 

Key Facts of Gujarat Kisan Suryodaya Yojana:-


  • According to PM Kisan Suryodaya Yojana, the work of laying new transmission lines will be done in the next 2-3 years about three thousand circuit km.
  • A budget of Rs 3500 crore has been allocated by the State Government to set up the infrastructure.
  • According to this plan, Dahod, Patan, Mahisagar, Panchmahal, Chhota Udaipur, Kheda, Anand and Gir-Somna districts have been included in the first phase, provision will be made to include the remaining districts in this scheme in a phased manner.

  • Only Gujarat Farmers can avail the benefits of the Kisan Suryodaya Yojana.
  • According to this scheme, the farmers of the state will be provided with electricity facility from 5 am to 9 pm in a day to irrigate their fields.
  • Due to the availability of electricity on time, farmers can irrigate their fields.
  • Through the Kisan Suryodaya Yojana, the farmers will get rid of the water problem.

How to Register Online for PM Kisan Suryodaya Yojana:-

Interested beneficiaries, who want to avail benefits from this scheme, have to wait a little to apply under the Gujarat Kisan Surodaya Yojana. The Prime Minister has inaugurated the scheme through video conference on 24th October.

No official information has been issued to apply under this scheme. We will let you know once the process of applying under this scheme has been started by the State Government, after which you will be able to apply under the scheme.
