What is Aadhaar PVC Card Online?

UIDAI has launched online PVC Aadhaar Card Service, which any Aadhaar Card holder can easily avail. Also, through this service one can also apply for Aadhaar PVC Card online on the official website of UIDAI. This new Aadhaar Card will be very small in size, which you will be able to fit comfortably in your wallet and for this you will have to spend a very nominal fee.

Apart from this, people whose mobile number is not linked or registered with their Aadhaar Card can also apply for PVC Aadhaar through this service.


Aadhaar PVC Card Online Application Process:-

Follow the below steps in order to apply for Aadhaar PVC Card Online:-

  • Visit the official website of Aadhaar Card.
  • Here, you have to go to the My Aadhaar Section on the home page.


  • Now you will see an option of Order Aadhaar PVC Card. Click on this option.
  • Once you click on this option, you will be directed to another page.
  • Enter your 12-digit Aadhaar Card Number or 16-digit Virtual Id on this page.
  • After this, enter captcha code and press the send OTP button.
  • You will receive an OTP on your registered mobile number, fill it on the given space/location and click on the submit button.
  • Once you submit the details, a preview of your PVC Aadhaar Card will come.
  • After that, you have to click on button of payment option, once you pay, your PVC Card Order will be completed. You can make payment through Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking/ UPI.



Key Features of New PVC Card:-
  • The PVC Card, also known as Poly Vinyl Chloride Card, is a plastic Card that have all your Aadhaar information.
  • One can order his/her Aadhaar Card by paying just 50 rupees  and it will also include GST and Speed post fee.
  • You can order PVC Aadhaar Card by using Aadhaar Number or Virtual Identification Number.
  • It has a very good security features like QR Code, Hologram, Post Image, Micro text etc.

Recognition via OTP:-

One can order New Aadhaar Card by receiving One Time Password from his/her registered mobile number. Aadhaar preview will be available only using registered mobile number.

Apart from this, Time based-One-Time Password (TOTP) can also be used by m-Aadhaar application.
