UAN Helpdesk


The UAN  Helpdesk is an online contact center on EPFO's website to assist employees and employers with EPF related services. The contact number for the UAN helpdesk is 1800 118 005. Employers and Employees can contact the UAN helpdesk during business hours to support  EPF cases.


SMS Format:- 

EPFO launched an SMS service for the benefit of its EPF members. A person who has activated UAN can use this SMS service to view their PF account information. The SMS format is EPFOHO<UAN>LAN. The number to which this particular SMS format needs to be sent is 7738299899. The word "LAN" in SMS format indicates the language. The facility is available in 10 different major languages, including English and Hindi.


Inactive/Inoperative Account Helpdesk:-

To track inactive/inoperative PF accounts, the person concerned can contact the UAN helpdesk for inoperative accounts. 


EPF Complaint Status:-

The status of EPF complaints can be tracked online. An employee can use registration number to track the status of their complaint. EPFO department official confirms the complaint. Once it is verified, the matter is then forwarded to the concerned person or department for proposal. The turnaround time for resolution of complaints can be up to 15-30 days. A reminder of the request can be sent by mentioning the registration number.


 EPFiGMS:-



EPFiGMS is an internet-based grievance redressal system used by EPFO. This portal allows anyone to register their complaint in a 24*7 system. Once the complaint is filed, the petitioner will be allotted a unique number. This unique number helps to keep track of the grievance redressal status. Each complaint to be addressed will be placed on a daily basis at all levels of daily supervision under strict supervision of the EPFiGMS system.


CPGRAMS:-


The Centralized Public Grievance Redressel and Monitoring System is a central government initiative that also allows and monitors complaints addressed by an individual. A PF member can also lodge a complaint on the CPGRAMS portal.


Complaint Registration:-

  • Go to Employees Provident Fund Internet Grievance Management System:- Applicant must gob to http://epfigms.gov.in/ and click on register complaint to file EPF complaints. The applicant must have your EPF UAN number to file a complaint.
  • EPF Complaint Webpage :-  On the EPF complaint webpage, the applicant can enter EPF details like EPF number, EPFO Office, Establishment Code, account number, extension code etc.
  • Complaint Registration Form :- In this section the applicant can enter the following information:-  1) Enter the name and address of the complaint. 2) Enter the Postcode, country and select the State. 3) Enter Phone Number, however this is not mandatory. 4) Fill in your email Id, however, it is not mandatory, it is recommend to fill it.
  • Complaint Category :-  The applicant must then select the complaint category under which the complaint is to be classified. Then the applicant has to file the complaint details.
  • Supporting Documents:- Post the above steps, the applicant will have to upload supporting documents in PDF format to clarify the complaint. They can upload the document in the upload file option > Click Browse, the person can select the PDF file stored in the computer location and then click attach.
  • Submission and Registration Number :- Then the applicant has to enter captcha or pattern in the image given below and then click on submit button. After the complaint is filed, the complainant will receive a unique registration number. These details will also be emailed to one's email id.
