SBI Online Banking



SBI Online or Internet Banking is a easy and convenient electronic system that enables customers to access their accounts and to conduct transactions through the internet.
One can check his/her balance, maintain the accounts and do fund transfers and much more using SBI Online Banking.

How one can register for SBI Online/Netbanking?


  1. Visit the Official website of SBI www.onlinesbi.com.
  2. Click on "New User Registration" option.
  3. Enter the details like account number,IFSC Code, Mobile Number etc.
  4. Click on "Submit" button.
  5. Enter the OTP send on your registered Mobile Number.
  6. In order to activate the SBI Online/Netbanking service, select ATM card to proceed.
  7. You will have temporary username on your screen, note it down and create a login password.
  8. Now log in with your temporary username and newly created password.
  9. You can now change your username of your choice (Recommended )
  10. Now you can click on "Account Summary" link to view all accounts mapped with your SBI Account.
How to change SBI Online Banking Username and Password?




In order to change the SBI Online Banking Username, you have to deactivate the Net banking account already registered. Then re-register for net banking either online or by visiting branch. You can now choose a new username and password.




In order to change the SBI Online Banking Password, no need to deactivate the SBI Online Banking Account, you just need to click on " Forget Net banking login password" for SBI account on Login page and give the requested information. A new password will be sent to registered email address. Login with that password and change the same for security purposes.

How to transfer Funds through SBI Online/Netbanking?

One can transfer the funds from one bank account to another through SBI Net banking. One can follow the any methods listed below:-
  1. NEFT
  2. IMPS
  3. RTGS


SBI Quick Transfer:- One can transfer the funds to an account in India without adding a beneficiary by using this service of SBI Online/Net banking. One can transfer up to Rs 10000 through this method. Account Holder is required to fill beneficiary account details.



Fund transfer through SBI Net banking to SBI Accounts:-
One can transfer funds from SBI account to other SBI accounts through SBI Online/Net banking portal. One has to add the beneficiary in order to transfer the fund. Once added , fund can be transfer quickly.



Fund transfer through SBI Online/Net banking to other bank accounts:-
One can also transfer funds from SBI Account to other bank account through SBI Online Portal. One has to follow the below steps :-
  1. Visit the official website and log in to the net banking account.
  2. In the "Payment/Transfer" option ,select the "Other Bank Account" option.
  3. Select the account and fill the amount to be transferred.
  4. Select the beneficiary from the list and click on submit button.
