SBI e- Mudra Loan - How to apply for e-Mudra Loan facility?



Mudra Loan means Micro Units Development and Refinance Agency. Under its guidance, loans are given to micro, small and medium enterprises from banks. It can get a maximum loan of up to Rs 10 lakh.

Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana is a big work scheme to give more momentum to your employment or business. In this you get financial help. If you are also thinking to apply for an e-Mudra loan from State Bank of India to further grow up your business, then you should do some special preparation before that.


SBI e-Mudra Loan?

If you are a savings account or current account holder in SBI, then you can take an e-Mudra loan of up to 50 thousand rupees from SBI. For e-Mudra loan, you can apply online from home.


Eligibility for SBI e-Mudra Loan:-



  • There are certain standards for taking this loan online. According to the information given on the SBI website, you should be a small entrepreneur.
  • Your saving account or current account in SBI must be at least six months old.
  • The loan period is for a maximum period of five years.
  • If you apply under SBI e-Mudra loan, then you can get a loan of 50 thousand rupees online sitting at home. In this, you can also take a maximum loan of up to one lakh rupees , but you will have to come to the branch for this.

Documents required for e-Mudra loan:-

  • Keep savings account or current account number and branch details.
  • Certificate of any business you run.
  • Aadhaar number must be updated in your bank account.
  • Documents related to caste information.
  • GSTN Number and Industry Aadhaar Number
  • Shop or Unit certificate.

How to apply for SBI e-Mudra ?




Existing SBI Customers who are saving bank or current account holders can apply for e-Mudra loans up to Rs One lakh.

  • Click on https://emudra.sbi.co.in:8044/emudra/basic-details and click on "Proceed".
  • Please provide the Aadhaar card of the applicant for e-KYC through UAIDI, as e-KYC and e-Sign have to be completed through OTP verification for loan processing and disbursal.
  • Once the loan formalities are completed, the applicant will receive an SMS asking them to start the further process by re-issuing the e-Mudra portal.
  • After receipt of loan approval SMS, this process needs to be completed within 30 days.
