Chandigarh Forest Recruitment 2020:- Department of Forest and Wildlife, Chandigarh Administration has invited applications for recruitment to the post of Forest Guard and Forester. Eligible and interested candidates can apply for these posts through the official website from 29 September to 20 October 2020.

 

Important Dates:-

  • Starting Date of Application - 29th September 2020
  • Last Date of Application - 20th October 2020.

Total Posts:- 

  • Forest Guard - 14 Posts
  • Forester - 6 Posts

Salary:- 

  • Forester - Rs 10300 - 34800 + 4400 GP
  • Forest Guard - Rs 10300 - 34800 + 3200 GP

Eligibility Criteria for Forest Guard and Forester Posts:-

Educational Qualifications:- 

  • Forest Guard :- Passed 10+2 examination from a recognized board or institute or diploma/ survey/ Draftsman (Civil) / Matriculation in civil engineering from a recognized institute.
  • Forester :- 10+2 examination passed from a recognized board or institute with the following two subjects :- Certificate in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, Agriculture or Second Class Matriculating received from ITI/ Draftsman (Civil)/ Civil Certificate.

Age Limit:-

Should be between 18 to 37 years.

Selection Process for the Posts of Forest Guard and Forester:-

The Merit list will be prepared on the basis of total marks obtained in objective type examination. An objective type examination of 80 marks will be conducted and the qualifying marks for the test will be 40% for all the candidates. No interview will be conducted. Candidates who have passed the written examination will be called for Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and thereafter Medical Examination Test (MET).
