Bihar Labour Card :- How to Apply for Bihar Labour Card

Labour registration has started in the labour resources department of Bihar Government. This labour registration by Bihar Government is being done so that all the labourers in Bihar can registered and given work. The main purpose of the state government behind this card is to know how many working class people live in their state and how could they give maximum benefits to labourers.


Eligibility for making Bihar Labour Card:-

  • Grade Workers
  • Mason or helper
  • The Carpenter.
  • Blacksmith
  • Painter
  • Electrician
  • Tile worker and assistant.
  • Gate grill welding workers.
  • Roller driver
  • Iron Binder.
  • Workers engaged in road bridge construction work.
  • Excluding Horticulture or Forestry under MNREGA Program.
  • Female workers.

Documents required to apply for Bihar Labour Card:-

  • Aadhaar Card
  • Bank Account.
  • In case the employer does not provide 90 day's work certificate or if the employer does not provide the proof of work, he/she will have to submit a self declaration form regarding 90 days of work.
  •  Two Coloured Passport size Photos.
  • Original Address prrof.

How to apply for Bihar Labour Card:-




To apply for the labour registration online, first of all, you have to go to the official website of the Labpur Resources Department of the Government of Bihar, www.labour.bih.nic.in.
Here you will see the option of labour registration, after clicking on this, website of labour registration Bihar, www.blrd.skillmissionbihar.org will open. Three options will appear on the website of Labour registration.

  • Worker/Labour Registration - Select this option for Labour registration or create a new Bihar Labour or for Labour registration.
  • Worker/Labour Login - After applying ,workers can use login for more information here and can check the status too.
  • Officer Login - This is just the official login for the officer of the Labour resources department of Bihar.



After choosing labour registration, a form will open in which the mandatory information's like name, father's name, Aadhaar number, date of birth, gender, marriage status and mobile number will have to be filled. After that all the process is complete, your labour card will also be considered and registration will be considered complete.
