Dil Bechara - SSR makes every frame special

Just a day after the release of Dil Bechara, social media is bombarded with the posts for the film.Fans of SSR expressing their love for the late actor.As soon as the film dropped on the OTT platform, netizens went berserk with their posts as the first shot of the film is quite heart-breaking and moves everyone. The makers, to pay a special tribute to Sushant Singh Rajput, have added a very small clipping of the actor in the start where we see him strumming the guitar. As usual he’s all smiles while playing the guitar and a quote appears below it which says, ‘Perhaps, the difference between what is miserable, and that, which is spectacular, lies in the leap of faith...#selfmusing.’ 

An adaptation of the bestselling novel The Fault in Our Stars, it tells the story of Kizie (Sanjana) and Manny (SSR), who are young, suffering from cancer, and about to fall in love. Two people too young to die. Two people battling death yet dreaming a new beginning. A morbid story ruled by romance and laughter. The novel’s polarity became a layered commentary on the nature of life: its unpredictability and uncertainty, its gifts and punishments.

Besides Sushant Singh Rajput and Sanjana Sanghi, Dil Bechara also features Saif Ali Khan in a cameo appearance. The film was earlier slated to release on May 8. However, its release was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic. The film is streaming on Disney+Hotstar and it is available to the subscribers as well as non-subscribers of the OTT platform.
